Public History

Dr. Delia Hagen has years of experience as a public historian, and  expertise in researching and presenting history for varied purposes. Dr. Hagen assists government agencies, private companies and individuals with projects relating to any aspect of the past, specializing in the natural and built environments and in historical research and writing for diverse projects. 

She helps clients by navigating administrative and compliance processes, preparing evidence and expert reports for litigation, and by researching, evaluating and interpreting historical developments.  As a professional historian, she has produced original historical work in an array of formats, ranging from academic monographs to documentary films, interpretive signage, planning documents, compliance reports and expert legal testimony.
